Two members of the Vandermark Foundation Board of Directors and a member from the Board of Advisors visited the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation program in Hanoi. They got the opportunity to meet and talk with children who are living in this facility after having been homeless on the streets of Hanoi. The staff of the program were very welcoming and were able to provide a detailed account of some of the challenges these children have faced. We were amazed at the sheer number of children being helped – more than 1700. Of particular interest were children who have been trafficked either for child labor or brothels. They have rescued over 600 children, which is a staggering number. We look forward to our continued work with this find organization.
